Walking Horse Trainers’ Association Suspends Peebles

SHELBYVILLE, Tenn. – The Walking Horse Trainers’ Association (WHTA) is aware of the charges and pending investigation of trainer Dick Peebles.  Due to the severity of the charges, the WHTA has suspended the license of Peebles immediately and will issue no further license until a resolution of the outcome has been confirmed.

The WHTA became aware of the charges against Peebles on Tuesday January 4, 2011 and held a board conference call at 10:00AM on Thursday January 6, 2011 where the action taken by the WHTA was approved unanimously.  The WHTA will have no further comment on the issue until a resolution to the matter has been confirmed.
